No Story-Book Ending for Zidane

Rather than a story-book ending for Zinedine Zidane, he's sent off after being red-carded for a totally classless move: head-butting an Italian player in the chest. Whether his team will also lose the World Cup final remains to be seen...

I tried to find video of that incident, since I was late tuning into the game. What happened?

I"m sure video of the incident will be available soon. Basically, the Italian player and Zidane were tangled up, the Italian was holding on to him. Then they got untangled, starting walking up the field. Clearly something was said, because Zidane walked backup up to him and just head-butted him.

So he might not have had the story book ending in the game, but France sure treated him like a hero anyway.
